You can take the following steps to identify what may be the cause of this:-

  1. If it is all alerts that are not running, there may be something wrong with SAP's "Job" service.
  2. If it is just this alert that is not running, find the Alert based on the subject in the message as shown this should identify the query that the alert is based on, whether the alert is active, its scheduling and  you can also check as to when it was last run and when it should run again.
  3. If the next time is in the future, then you could run the query manually to confirm that it is simply running and not providing any results
  4. If the next time is in the past, then there may be something wrong with the query that is providing no results because there is a query runtime error or the query is now running with a parameter.  Alerts cannot run queries with parameters.
